Liron, Shootz & The Quasi Company

This installation is made out of wood residues, some taken from an art installation we created in the desert  and others from our studio and the (industrial) workshop lined streets of south Tel Aviv.

Like the Phoenix which rises from its ashes, this work rose from scorched wood, wood shavings (peels) and discarded (abandoned pieces) panels to create a visionary creature. This creature leaves within itself an opportunity, after its dismantling, for an altogether new project to emerge (arise), thus fulfilling (When this installation will be dismantled to its primal pieces…) the need for metamorphosis  after having reached a climax.
