Liron, Shootz & The Quasi Company

The Effigy is located in the heart of the city. 

On the third day, all the citizens of the city, meet around this installation, for the fire ceremony, an emotional and intense moment in the Midburn experience.

The idea of the project is to create something that represents the formation of the city - what happens when encounters between people create a new reality: a momentary, temporary, free, reality.

Abra&Cadabra were born out of magic. Magic of the meeting between people. Mutual fertilization and social inspiration, alongside the precision of shape, structure and the energy that emerges from this encounter.

Built of timber-webs, gentle yet precise, Abra&Cadabra meet to create the Zygote: Creating Life and Reality. Their creation is assembled from the same timber-webs from which they, themselves, are made of. Out of the ideas, the thoughts and the feelings, life is born, and endless possibilities arise.

The Effigy exhibits the process of creation as a mutual dialectic process: consent versus conflict, attraction like rejection, love and the loneliness within it. Encounters of individuals creating a communal effort, filling in the spaces between them with a new reality that shines upon them, illuminating them with new light.
